The little girls also like love and attention,
but they tend to be more active, ornery, and spunky.
Instead of alpha males, we usually have alpha females in our litters.
In some ways, females tend to be smarter,
They usually learn new tricks very easily,
but they can also use their extra smarts for getting into mischief
and lovingly manipulating the humans in their lives!
Both sexes are ADORABLE!
It depends on what type of a dog personality you are looking for!
A good quality, healthy, regular size Havanese
should sell for somewhere between $1000-$2000.
Females with breeding rights, rare colors,
and smaller sizes
will bring the higher prices.
A regular size Havanese
will average 8-17 pounds as adults.
We breed on the small size of regular.
Our Regular size Havanese
are averaging 8-12 pounds as adults.
A good quality, healthy, true mini size Havanese
should sell for somewhere between $1500-$2500
on a spay/neuter contract.
Rare colors and smaller sizes
will bring the higher prices.
A mini size Havanese should average
between 5.5-7.5 pounds as an adult.
A good quality, healthy, true teenie tiny size Havanese
should sell for $3500 (and up) on a spay/neuter contract.
Rare colors and smallest sizes
will bring the higher prices.
A teenie tiny size Havanese
should weigh under 5.5 pounds as an adult.
They are extremely rare and very hard to find!
I am sure you have heard the saying,
"You get what you pay for!"
Unfortunately, the Havanese market
has been flooded with cheap puppy mill babies,
and breeders using labels of mini and
teenie tiny
to sell their regular size runt puppies for more money.
Most of our dogs have either come from Europe,
or their parents came from Europe.
We have found the European bred dogs to be healthier,
with less inbreeding and fewer hereditary problems.
When we went to Europe for our dogs,
We spent time
researching and searching out quality kennels.
...Kennels that had produced many European Champions,
... and even World Champions.
We bought our dogs from these people of charcter.
We didn't just import a couple dozen tiny 6 week old puppies,
knowing that many would not make the trip,
because it was the
cheapest way to import dogs.
We purchased our dogs as small puppies,
then we waited until the dogs were at least 4 months old
to have them evaluated by the kennel owners
to make sure they were healthy
and of good character and form.
The breeders of our puppies
wanted to make sure that they were sending us their BEST!
They knew we were wanting to buy and breed quality.
We paid extra to have them shipped to us
on the same type of animal transport flights
that the large USA zoos use to transport animals.
We didn't go to Puppyfind
and purchase a few cheap, halfbreed mutts
with false papers and fake pedigrees
to start our breeding program!
When we started our mini breeding program
over 5 years ago
and our teenie tiny breeding program
I did not go out and buy a bunch of runt puppies
and throw them together to make minis.
I searched very carefully.
I never chose a runt of the litter.
I looked for naturally small parents.
I looked for naturally small grandparents.
I looked for the shorter cute teddybear noses
and the slightly wavy thick coats.
I was picky!
I wanted our puppies to be the best they could be!
We are still working on perfecting our lines.
because every once in a while,
a puppy will grow a little larger than we anticipated.
But, our lines are healthy and they are naturally small.
Our puppies have wonderful personalities and character.
The parents and grandparents
of our mini and teenie tiny puppies are small.
We are not just selling you the runt
of a regular sized litter
for
a higher price.
If a breeder is offering their puppies
for less than these prices.
These breeders do not have a very good opionion
of their own puppies or their own breeding stock.
Why would they sell a puppy for that cheap?
if there was not something wrong with it?
My question would be,
"What are they NOT telling you?"
What are they trying to hide?
Where was the puppy raised?
Was it raised in a loving home?
or a cold dark puppy mill?
Is the puppy a purebred Havanese?
There are many puppies out there
with fake pedigrees and false papers.
A puppy is a big investment.
A Havanese can live for 20 years!
You will fall in love with your puppy
and you want your puppy to be healthy!
Is it worth taking a chance?
to save a couple hundred dollars now?
We have been breeding for over 7 years now.
We have satisfied customers
in over 40 US states and Canada.
You can buy from us, with confidence!
When we sell you a puppy,
We do not sell you a puppy and then run!
We always tell our buyers
that we are here to answer questions.
If we don't know the answer,
We will try to help them find the answer.
We always encourage our buyers to stay in touch.
Many of our customers return for a 2nd and 3rd baby!
We get many referrals from other satisfied customers.
We constantly receive E-mails and updated pictures
of puppies that we have sold in the past.
It always makes our day!
We have loving forever family friends all over the USA!
Every one of our puppies
is born and raised in our family room.
We love each one of them dearly.
Our greatest goal
is to find loving forever families for all of our puppies
and for the puppies
to sow joy and laughter into these families lives.
Our mini and teenie tiny size Havanese
have all the same wonderful traits
of the regular size Havanese.
They just come in a smaller package...
They are very rare...
and they are hard to find!
Our mini Havanese and our Teenie Tiny Havanese
are only sold on spay/neuter contracts.
We do our best to try and predict accurate adult size,
but we do not guarantee the adult size of any puppy.
We look at the size of parents, grandparents, past litters,
birth weights, and any other information that we may have.
We are pretty accurate most of the time,
but sometimes
nature has its own way of doing things
and a puppy may
be a little smaller or a little larger than predicted.
All puppies have dew claws removed,
are vet checked, dewormed, and current on all shots.
Our vets examine the puppies thoroughly,
before they go to their new homes,
and always comment on how healthy our dogs are.
We love all of our puppies very much
and we try to match each puppy
with a loving forever family.
We do our best to make sure all of our puppies
find good loving homes,
and that all of our adoptive families
are pleased with their puppies.
Our puppies come with a basic one year
puppy replacement guarantee,
against severe congenital or genetic health problems,
that might not be apparent as a puppy.
We have never had to use this guarantee,
as we have been blessed with very healthy dogs!
This guarantee is simply given for your peace of mind.
The majority of our dogs either came from Europe
or their grandparents came from Europe.
In some cases the grandparents were FCI registered.
In some cases our dogs were FCI registered.
Most of our dogs have several European Champions
in their 4 generation pedigrees!
All of our dogs are purebred Havanese.
We raise no other breed of dogs.
Each of our dogs are treasured members of our family.
Some are Champion sired.
We require a $500 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit
to reserve a puppy.
This deposit can be by bank cashiers check, bank wire, or by credit card.
The puppy will be placed on hold for 3 business days,
allowing time for the deposit to arrive.
The total balance is due before the puppy leaves our care.
The balance can be paid by a wire of funds to our bank,
by a bank cashiers check, by credit card,
or by cash if picking the puppy up in person.
Unless prior arrangements are made,
All regular and mini size puppies
should be picked up, or shipped, by 10 weeks of age.
Teenie tiny pups can wait until as late as 11 weeks of age.
If you have not made arrangements to pick your puppy up,
or to have the puppy shipped to your closest major international airport,
and this time period is getting close,
we will attempt to contact you by phone and by E-mail.
If you do not respond to the phone messages or E-mails,
we will be forced to assume
that you no longer wish to purchase the puppy.
The puppy will be placed for sale again.
Your non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.
We are located in Kansas.
If you wish to pick your puppy up, in person,
We will happily meet you, at the MCI airport, with your puppy,
so that you can take the puppy home with you,
in the passenger portion of the plane, as a carry-on.
This is a 5 hour round trip for us,
plus the time we spend with you at the airport.
We charge $100 for this service,
to cover our gas and mileage for the trip,
the vet health inspection papers needed for flight,
and the puppy packet.
The puppy packet includes a hand made blanket for each puppy,
a few toys that the puppy picks from a giant pile,
a small sample bag of Royal Canin Mini Puppy 33
(what the puppy is used to eating now),
the puppy's vet records, registration papers,
and a 4 generation pedigree
and a puppy book with some basic puppy care information.
If you are unable to come, in person, to pick up your pet,
we can ship the puppy to you!
We prefer Continental's Petsafe program,
when it is available out of Kansas City Missouri.
They have a dedicated temperature controlled area,
that is just for pets and pharmaceuticals.
They also have a very good reputation for handling pets
and for making sure that the pets arrive in good shape.
When they are not available, there are other airlines
who also do a good job with shipping animals
and we will pick one of these
based on the time of year and temperatures
for departure and arrival cities
and the availability of flights.
We can ship to most large International airports
within the Continental USA,
for $295 (small crate) or $350 (medium crate).
This cost includes the air transportation and insurance for the flight,
the cost of the vet health inspection paperwork needed for flying,
a nice heavy duty hard-shelled travel crate,
a quality sherpa mat, so the puppy won't slip around during travel,
and the puppy packet, which is mailed directly to your home,
via Priority Mail.
When shipping to Canada and Alaska,
there is sometimes an extra $75-$100 charge
for a kenneling fee,
if the puppy is in one location
for more than four hours.
If we are shipping your puppy,
the total purchase price and shipping costs
must be received by us, before the flight will be booked.
ALL PUPPIES SHOWN BELOW THIS LINE
HAVE ALREADY BEEN RESERVED.
